The Belmont is family run .
We have 17 bedrooms All rooms are ensuite. The rooms are double twin
or family rooms. Single occupancy may have a supplement cost.
We are a friendly relaxed hotel.
But the standards of food and housekeeping are high.
Everyone is given a key and can come
and go as they please, but we do insist that when you come in late you
respect other guests and fall up the stairs quietly! We do not allow
you to bring anyone into the hotel without first asking us.
Children are welcome in the bar area we have crayons and coloring books
and a few games but they must be seated with their parents and we expect
children(and parents to be well behaved .
At the reception we have hairdryers,
ironing boards, irons and alarm clocks. You may smoke in your room and
bar l. But not in the dining room. We do have a non smoking area.
We have a large car park and parking
is very rarely a problem but we do not reserve parking and it is on
a first come first served basis. We are only a few streets away from
Lonsdale bus station and a short taxi ride from the train station.

OR GROUND FLOOR ROOMS
Family rooms have a double bed and
a set of bunk beds or a double and a single bed. We can also put in
fold up beds in some rooms.
CONDITIONS
OF BOOKING In the event of cancellation or curtailment or failure to
arrive, should the reservation not be re-filled, either in the case
of the dining room or accommodation, the person under whose name the
booking was made shall be liable to pay for the total cost as per reservation.
Deposits are not refundable but will be deducted from any claim for
compensation arising out of any cancellation or curtailment of the contract.
We strongly recommend that a cancellation insurance cover be purchased
to safeguard against any financial loss being incurred owing to unavoidable
cancellations through illness etc. The proprietors reserve the right
to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any
person who is part of that contract cause any detriment to the well
being or comfort of other guests, staff or proprietors or to the hotel
itself. Although we do our best to ensure requested accommodation, we
do reserve the right to change if necessary.
