GENERAL INFORMATION

The Belmont boasts a delightful seafront position. We are located mid point between the Tower and the Pleasure Beach with tram and bus stops close by. Our sun lounge affords views over the Irish Sea and South/Central Promenade.

All bedrooms offer ensuite facilities with televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. We also have a number of seaview bedrooms and for special occassions visitors can opt for a four poster seaview. We offer twin bedded, double bedded and family bedrooms. Smoking and non-smoking bedrooms are available. PLEASE NOTE unfortunately at present we do not have a lift or ground floor bedrooms. For those who have mobility difficulties please discuss your requirements prior to booking as no allowance can be made for failure to do so.

We are a friendly relaxed hotel who welcome well behaved guests, however our standards of food, whether breakfast, lunch or evening meal and housekeeping are high.

Everyone is given a key and can come and go as they please, but we do insist that when you come in late you respect other guests and fall up the stairs quietly! We do not allow you to bring anyone into the hotel without first asking us.

We have a large car park and parking is very rarely a problem but we do not reserve parking and it is on a first come first served basis. We are only a few streets away from Lonsdale bus station and a short taxi ride from the train station or Blackpool International Airport.

 

The hotel is located on the seafront, midpoint

between the

Pleasure Beach

and

Blackpool Tower.

Bus and tram stops are only a few feet from the front door and taxis are readily available.

Local days out, such as and the

other attractions, like are within easy reach of the hotel.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of deposit. Deposits are strictly non- refundable.
Meal times are pre-arranged and no allowance is made for any absence from meals. The Hotel reserves the right to alter the times of meals and other events without prior notice.


Whilst we make every effort to fulfil, we unfortunately cannot guarantee, requests and our failure to do so does not constitute a breach of contract. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel or change your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. If this situation does arise you will receive the option of alternative arrangements.


On day of arrival rooms are available from 3pm (times may vary for special packages). On day of departure rooms must be vacated by 10am or an extra days' charge will be applied.


The Hotel accepts no responsibility for guests' property or valuables or vehicles.


Payment must be made in cash on arrival. Please note that we do not accept cheques or credit/debit cards for balance payments.
In the event of any cancellation or curtailment or failure to arrive: If cancellation or curtailment occurs prior to 28 days before the arrival date and we have been unable to re-let the accommodation the person who made the booking will be liable to pay the outstanding account in full less an allowance for food. If cancellation occurs less than 28 days prior to arrival the person who made the booking will be liable to pay the account in full. In the case of cancellation or curtailment deposits will be used to cover any costs incurred by the hotel for re-advertisement of accommodation and/or pursuit of any monies owed and are deductible only from the final invoice prior to any allowances being subtracted. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
Holiday insurance is strongly recommended to all guests. This should include cover, for your benefit, of cancellation, curtailment and no show, plus for your peace of mind, theft, loss and damage of possessions.
No allowance will be made for failure to take out such insurance.

The management reserves the right to curtail any contract should the conduct of any person cause detriment to the well being and comfort of other guests or staff. Guests or visitors who cause damage to Hotel property will be liable for full replacement and labour costs. This includes damage such as, but not limited to, wet beds, broken light fittings and stained bed or bathroom linen.


The Management is proud of the standards of accommodation and service provided to all our guests. We trust that you have a trouble free and enjoyable holiday. In the unlikely event you should have cause for criticism or suggestion during your stay you must bring it to the attention of the manager immediately in order to give us a fair opportunity to make every effort to resolve the situation. It is considered unreasonable to make any criticism after departure from the Hotel. The Hotel will not reply to complaints after the event.


The Hotel does NOT guarantee car parking for any guest or visitor.


The Hotel operates a NO pets policy.


We are a family hotel and welcome well-behaved children. We do not offer a baby listening service. Due to fire and licensing regulations children (all guests under 15 years of age) must not be left unattended in any area of the hotel including bedrooms.


Unfortunately the Hotel may be difficult to access by persons with limited mobility. People with limited mobility should check very carefully with reception before booking. Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs.
